Welcome to the Glendale/Glenmeadows Community! Help us make this the best community in the city of Calgary!

Community memberships are valid from September 1 to August 31 the following year.

How do I get a community membership?

Download, print and complete the community membership application form.  Mail the completed form with your membership fee to the address listed therein.

Why buy a community membership?

To support your Community Association.

What does the Community Association do for us?

• The Community Association holds monthly meetings to discuss and plan for life and issues in our community.  Your city alderman generally attends these meetings, and so can you.
• Represent your community to the city - Liase with the city regarding planning and traffic matters such as the West LRT.
• Oversee and support the Glendale Community Nursery School.
• Plan and organize fundraising for the community
• Maintain and continually improve:
• Community Hall and surrounding park areas
• Hockey and Ice Skating Rinks
• Plan and run community events like:
  • Family Fun Day
  • Family Halloween Party
  • Christmas Party
• Publish and deliver your community newsletter
• Support sports and arts programs for adults and children
• Support these sponsored programs:
  • Guides & Scouts
  • Seniors group
  • Mom & Tots group
  • Aerobic & Yoga groups

We have a very strong community spirit in Glendale/Glendale Meadows.  Do your part and join the community association and, if you can, volunteer to make it even stronger - we can always use more help and it's a great way to meet residents of your community!

How much does an annual community membership cost?

All of the above benefits are available for the low low annual membership cost of $25

What about tennis courts?

Access to the tennis courts is an additional $25 annual fee.  You can add this to your membership at any time.
