West LRT
Construction on the West LRT started in March 2010 and is expected to continue until December 2012, when the West LRT is planned to open for service. During construction, traffic congestion is expected.
The LRT will be trenched along a portion of 17 Ave SW, and include a trenched LRT station at 45 St & 17 Ave. Two bridges, at 45 St and 42 St, will be built, and they are expected to be complete in October 2010.
